I was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, raised in Arlington, VA and now reside in Connecticut.
I sang my first solo at nine years old at church, with my mom as my vocal coach. This was also the age I was diagnosed with my skin condition "vitiligo". Music was a huge factor in coping with my ever changing skin and the pressures that came with being a middle and high schooler.
I was raised with a love for all genres of music. I enjoy incorporating different styles into my music.
My music can be described mostly as Contemporary Christian, Gospel, and R&B.
I am an ordained minister and have a minor in dance, so if you watch me perform live you can expect to have fun and be ministered to.
The ability to articulate what’s inside in a creative, musical way is something that is my strength as an artist. You’ll hear vulnerability in my lyrics because it truly comes from a tender place.
This is Ayesha's debut project. There is a mixture of R&B, Gospel, and Pop sounds. Her songwriting influence comes from different experiences in her faith.
I am constantly working on new projects. You can be a part of the action! Please consider contributing.
